Life In The Hood Over the next few weeks we’re going to see what God’s Word has to say to us in our “hood,” in the relationships that matter most to us, in the relationships that define us. No matter who you are, what stage of life you’re in, each week we’ll have something to say to you. Let’s discover how God can help each of us to live our lives “in the hood.”
Marriage Works Picnic Saturday, June 23rd, 4-7pm our Marriage Works Ministry will be sponsoring the annual couple’s picnic. We’ll provide the burgers, dogs and buns. Please bring your friends, lawn chairs, and a side dish or dessert to share. Invite family, friends, and neighbors! It will be a lot of fun for all!! Child care will be provided, but you will need to sign up in advance on your Welcome Card indicating the number of children and ages.
Sports Camp Mark your calendars! We will be holding sports camps this year at the Lambs Gap Campus from June 18th - 22nd from 9am to 4pm for ages K-5. If you have an interest in sports and would like to hear more about the camp, please contact Lori Cartmil. Live in the Etters area? A shuttle service to the Mechanicsburg campus will be offered for those in the Etters area. Drop off & pick up will be at: Cavalry Realty, 1580 Robin Hood Drive, Etters, PA 17319 Registration (in Etters) begins at 8am - Shuttle leaves promptly at 8:30am. Pick-up will be from 4:30-4:45pm depending on traffic.
Haiti Youth Team Volleyball Tournament The CACC Haiti Youth Team is taking a mission trip to Haiti this summer! Come to the church on Sat, May 19th at 10:00 am for our volleyball tournament that will raise money for our youth team to go change lives in Haiti this summer. Refreshments will be on sale at the event at a low cost. All proceeds will benefit the Haiti Team. More details will be coming soon, but start gathering up a group of friends & come play some volleyball with us on May 19th!
Haiti Adult Team Sub Sale The adult missions team traveling to Haiti this summer will be selling subs in the lobby on Sunday, May 27. No pre-orders necessary! Cost of subs is $4.50 each. Grab a sub and help support the Haiti team!
Bridge of Hope Fundraiser Help support Bridge of Hope by eating at the Enola Hoss’s on Sunday, May 20th. Please pick up a coupon at the Guest Services Booth in the lobby. Hoss’s will then donate 20% of your total check to Bridge of Hope. Thank you for supporting this ministry.
“He’s Alive” Tour Featuring David Phelps of the Gaither Vocal Band
Thursday, May 31st at 7 pm, David Phelps of the Gaither Vocal Band will be appearing in concert at Christian Life Assembly in Camp Hill. ALL proceeds from this concert will support the Capital Area Pregnancy Center. Tickets are on sale at www.davidphelps.com or locally at Bible Baptist Church inn Shiremanstown on M-W-F from 9 am – 2 pm.
Prayer Support Team Open House Our Prayer Partners will be sponsoring an Open House on Sunday, July 15th. Do you know who your prayer partner is? If not, please take this opportunity to meet them face to face.
Highmark Bridge of Hope Fundraiser The Bridge of Hope mentoring team will be selling candles between first and second service on June 24th in the lobby. All funds will be used to help our Bridge of Hope mom. If you have any questions about this fundraiser, or about the ministry of Bridge of Hope, please contact Kathy Horvath at 275-2127.
