Each summer we partner with Harrisburg Brethren in Christ Church to supply fully stocked backpacks to school age children from Edison Village.  Last summer with the help of our CACC family we supplied approximately 100 backpacks to this community!  This summer our goal is to again distribute at least 100 backpacks, God willing.  The majority of these children come from single mom families and both moms and kids are deeply appreciative of the love shown to them from God through CACC.

Know a child who needs a backpack?  We do provide backpacks for kids from our own community, church or neighborhood who could use a helping hand.  You must let us know about them.  Please call Debby Griffith at 730-8507. We require the child’s first name, age and/or grade in school.  Then your part will be to deliver the backpack to the child when Debby notifies you that the backpack is ready.

Beginning July 12th you will find the Backpack Display Board in our lobby.  Tags will be provided that list the items needed.  On the back of each tag is a description of the item and quantity needed.  PLEASE SIGN UP ON THE FORM ON THE TABLE ON THE CORRESPONDING LINE FOR THE ITEM YOU WILL BE DONATING, YOUR NAME AND PHONE NUMBER ARE ESSENTIAL FOR TRACKING PURPOSES.  Keep your tag handy!
