Children's Ministry

/files/Images/Staff/lCartmill.jpgChildren from birth through fifth grade meet for their own programs during all worship services each week. A caring, gifted group of teachers and assistants bring the Bible alive for young people. Knowing God’s word and how it applies to daily life is paramount in our program. During our worship services we offer "The Connection Castle," a junior worship service for pre-school through fifth graders.  We believe that children can make a difference in the world and we give them opportunities to do so. The children at Capital Area make meals for our local firemen every month, they sponsor a child in Haiti and send packages there regularly, support our troups, send gifts and cards to the elderly and a whole lot more. They do make a difference!

The children also enjoy many special events and activities held throughout the year. Events such as: a family movie night, a periodic Sunday night service designed for families called "Sunday Night Live," a community Easter Egg Hunt, and various summer camps.

If you want your children to have the opportunity to make a difference in their world, please join us!
